"Although a diligent experimenter that also applies a complex assortment of mediums

(photography, video, installation, performance, digital work),

Cerj Lalonde remains above all an extraordinary painter."

Antonina Zaru

Antonina Zaru is an Italian curator and art critic who has organized several exhibitions and retrospectives in Museums around the world

(from Miro and Magritte to Richard Serra and Nam June Paik).

She is a regulator contributor on art for several art journals and catalogues.

"My wife and I have a large home with a large art collection, including a number of paintings by prominent artists.

Invariably, however, when we have guests over, the artist whose work is singled out for praise and inquiries is Cerj Lalonde.

His style is unique, and the effect is quite remarkable."

Dr. Steve Kerr

Chief Learning Officer, Goldman Sachs

"Cerj Lalonde moves smoothly from the  canvas to the camera, from computers to installations,

producing and showcasing an extraordinarily rich and complex body of work created  during the last 30 years.

His purpose is to pursue a direct, and, in  each case, a different communication  with the spectator..."

Our whole house will never be the same again.

It is like our home has "come into its own", like it has found its soul.”

Cerj,

Wow , opening the package you send me was surprise after surprise. First I saw the small "Eye luv you" that my wife

already had framed. Next I saw the major piece "Facing the Sky" Wow Wow Wow!

And it is already hanging on a wall in my living room.

Next the Book, just totally amazing. I am  trying to find the piece I bought from you in 1986 or 1987,

I  found similar already, but not the same one.

And I love the extra piece which is getting framed at this moment.

I am so glad I responded to your offer of being one out of 25 to get "Facing the Sky".

Congratulations and continue the good work.

My husband and I commissioned a piece from Cerj for our home. He was an absolute pleasure

to work with throughout the entire design process.  At our initial meeting, he gave us a lesson in art history

and how it has influenced his work.  He also let us explore his studio and explained his artistic process.

We were originally drawn to Cerj's Save the World series because of his use of color and texture.

We were drawn to the simplicity of the series and the message it conveyed.

However, there were components of some of his other projects that we were drawn to as well.

Cerj patiently observed our responses and worked tirelessly to create a final product that was absolutely perfect for us.

We feel lucky to have discovered Cerj's work and are extremely excited for the rest of the world to discover it when

his FACING THE SKY project is revealed at Art Basel Miami Beach.

Stevens LOVED LOVED LOVED the painting! He can’t stop staring at it and meditating on it.

Thank you again so much! Paige likes hers better than the original. I knew she would. It’s amazing.
When we get back to Miami, I want to have a cocktail party in your honor...

"Cerj Lalonde is an international established artist with an extraordinary analytic mind and a irreducible passion

for his prolific and outstanding work ... He embraces his artistic mission with the heart of a Lion ...

His courage in his creative itinerary gained him an irreplaceable place in the contemporary global art world

and a valuable human recognition as one of the most exquisite artist I know..."

I have “Save the earth”, which is my favorite. I have “For a new vision”, also in my living room.

The painting damaged by the move is called “the blue flame”. A little bit of paint is missing.

Someone grabbed the painting before we could stop them.

My ex has the other two. I’ll get you the names in back of the paintings, so you know where they are.

After creating such beautiful paintings, I’m sure that you are somewhat curious to know how much your

paintings are appreciated and how well they are cared for.

I have the opportunity and privilege to tell you that I absolutely love your work.

Your paintings have not only inspired me every day, they have embellished the world of everyone who comes into my home.

So, thank you for sharing of yourself with us. You are very much appreciated.
